Guamas
was opened on Johnston Street in 1997. However, due to our ever growing
patronage, we have moved to the “St. Streets” area. Today Guamas is
owned by my husband, Rubens (a native of Cuba) and myself, Julieta (a
native of Colombia, raised in Venezuela). We have created a new Guamas
that provides a Caribbean atmosphere, and serve traditional homemade
food that is healthy and delicious!
My husband and I will like to
thank the Lafayette community for supporting us and helping us grow.
Due to this growth we have relocated to the beautiful and exciting
downtown area on Jefferson St allowing us to host up to 120 people.
Here are some answers to our
